What lays behind all those master-pieces and their artists? Come with us to the Prado Museum tour and you will be amazed.

Prado Museum Tour

There is no better way to discover one of the biggest and most interesting museums in the world than our Prado Museum Tour.

Our guides make the queue for you, you don’t have to pay entrance and we have two hours to explore and discover the secrets of the masterpieces.

We live with some questions that will open your curiosity:

How did Velázquez sign his paintings?

Where was the famous painting “Las Meninas” created?

Why is there a “nude Maja” and a “clothed” one amongst Goya’s paintings?

What is the difference between Goya’s crucified Christ and Velazquez’?

Why did “El Greco” painted a gentleman with a hand on his chest?

Why does Bosch’s master-piece “The Garden of Earthly Delights” still make us question it nowadays?

So many paintings and so many stories! What is hidden behind all those paintings and their artists? Come with us to the Prado Museum tour and you will be amazed.

The Prado Museum is a universal patrimony to share.

It is yours as well!

It was such a pleasure to meet Irina, who is very passionate and knowledgeable about the museum and Madrid in general. Two hours was just enough time to see the major works of art in a huge museum. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking to explore the Prado Museum, but, like us, unsure how to do it on your own.

Irena is an amazing person. She really knows a lot about art and history of the paintings. Without Irena I would have been completely lost in the Prado and thanks to her I have a greater appreciation of the beautiful art. She has so much enthusiasm when she speaks, I would love to take another tour with her. Thank you Irena!

Thanks to Irena for our lovely free tour in the Prado. I enjoyed the tour thoroughly and even with my basic Spanish, I understood loads from her enthusiasm and actions as well as her clear voice, all in which I really appreciated! She made the most of our time in the Prado and without her it would have definitely not been as interesting, she clearly has a passion for this area and really makes you want to know more. Thanks so much for your time, highly recommend this experience and Irena to anyone who is visiting Madrid and the Prado ☺️ Muchas gracias!

Irina is a really easy-going and open minded person, moreover, you feel that she loves what she does because of the passion she puts in it. Going alone compared to going with her to El Prado makes a huge different. She gives you plenty of details about the paintings and artists and not just that, she also gives you information about the period of time when the masterpieces were made as well as other curiosities. The Tour was 2 hours and it came to be even short for me. That time passed like if it would have been 10 minutes. We saw paintings from Rubens, Velazquez, El Greco and Goya above all, I have learnt a bunch of things about history and art thanks to Irina. Mulțumesc mult Irina! I am looking forward for the second tour with her at El Prado. VOL 2, there I go!!! 🙂

We had a great experience with Irina from Trip Tours Madrid. It was our last day in Madrid, arriving in the afternoon from Seville. We were looking for a tour of the Prado and our schedule was tight. I had booked the tour the night before, but we were told that the English guide was not available. However, Irina made time and texted me throughout the day to accommodate our busy schedule, so we were able to do the tour. And she is a great guide! Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the art, especially Velazquez, El Greco and Goya. My teenage kids loved her too. The Prado is a huge museum and, unless you’re an art expert, you shouldn’t really go there without a guide, or you’ll be lost. So look up Trip Tours Madrid and book with them. It’s free, and if you get Irina as your guide, you’ll get one of the best. Thanks Irina!

We had a tour today with Irina. In the morning in the city center and now in the evening at the Prado museum. There is only one word to describe the experience: amazing! Irina is very knowledgeable and she makes the tour very fun. If you want to discover the history of the places you visit in Madrid, do yourself a favour and book them. You will not regret it!
