A free tour is a guided walking tour with no fixed price. You book your spot without paying in advance and, at the end of the route, you decide how much to give your guide based on how much you enjoyed it. The usual contribution in Madrid is between 15€ and 20€ per person, but it's entirely up to you.

For the Prado Museum free tour, each participant buys their own museum ticket. The tour lasts 3 hours: a 30 minute introduction in the entrance queue, followed by a 2 hour walk through the galleries with an expert guide.
