Accessibility Statement

Applicable standard

We strive to comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), as well as with the applicable Spanish accessibility regulations.

Measures in place

• Keyboard navigation: the whole site can be navigated using the keyboard alone, without a mouse.
• Assistive technologies: semantic HTML5 structure compatible with screen readers.
• Colour contrast: we meet the minimum ratio of 4.5:1 for standard text and 3:1 for large text.
• Alternative text: every informative image has a description provided through the alt attribute.
• Responsive design: the site adapts to any screen size (mobile, tablet and desktop).
• Declared language: the language of each page is set in the lang attribute for screen readers.
• Descriptive links: each link clearly describes its destination or its function.
• Accessible forms: every form field has an associated label.

Level of conformance

We consider triptoursmadrid.com to be partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA: it meets most of the requirements. The areas that fall short of full conformance are mainly due to third-party components embedded in the site, such as the Ventrata booking widget, over which we do not have full technical control, and are listed under known limitations.

Known limitations

We are aware that there are areas where we can improve, and we work actively to minimise them. At the time of the latest review, the following limitations exist:

• Embedded third-party booking widgets (for example, Ventrata for excursions and sightseeing buses) follow their provider's accessibility standards, which may differ from the WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines.
• Some decorative images may not include a detailed description when they do not convey relevant information.
