A gentle, wide-open walk along the shore of the Embalse de Santillana, with La Pedriza and the castle of Manzanares el Real framing the view the whole way. Water, granite and mountains all in a single stroll, less than an hour from Madrid.
The trail is easy and almost completely flat, which makes it a great choice for all ages and abilities, and one of the best spots in the Sierra de Guadarrama to catch the sunset mirrored on the water without any real climbing.
