Valle de La Barranca is the perfect gateway to the Sierra de Guadarrama: a lush Scots pine forest at the foot of Bola del Mundo, threaded with mountain streams and shaded for almost the entire walk.
An easy circular hike, ideal for first-timers, families or anyone after a simple day in nature just an hour from Madrid.
